Our 190 m² studio is located in Berlin-Wedding, very close to the city centre and easily accessible by public transportation.


Factorue offers a large recording room (60 m²), three mixing suites, a small production office and a spacious kitchen area, which are all flooded with natural daylight.

As a versatile collective of musicians, music producers and sound designers we combine our complementing skill sets mainly for original takes on the synthesis of sound and the moving image.


We offer:

  • score composition, sound design and sound editing for motion pictures, TV + radio broadcast, commercials, image films, podcasts, art projects, complex multimedia settings

  • music and sound consulting + audio production for brand-focused projects and content-led campaigns in the context of today’s multifaceted media sphere


As individual services we also offer:


  • mixing audio in stereo and multichannel surround sound for the above-mentioned applications

  • voiceover and ADR recording, by request directed remotely via Skype

  • recording of individual instruments or groups of performers in our studio or at any other location

Uwe Bossenz is a prolific film score composer and award-winning sound designer. Over the last 17 years he has been working on numerous feature films, documentaries, tv shows, commercials, educational shorts and sound installations. Since completing his Tonmeister at Filmuniversität Babelsberg he has meticulously refined his craft and now holds teaching assignments at a number of film universities where he passes on his in-depth knowledge of handling sound on and off set.

Anton Feist is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, music producer and live performer. Having studied at Filmuniversität Babelsberg, he works as a Tonmeister in various audiovisual contexts, focussing on score composition and post production. The expert in mixing and recording techniques has also been putting his magic touch on a number of music productions.

Fabian Fenk has been producing and performing electronic music since the start of the millennium, always showcasing a recognizable style while staying open to experiments. Throughout his diploma in graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, he has not only come to understand how the visual world is shaped but increasingly explored the relation between image and sound, as well. Having released many albums with German electronic pop bands Bodi Bill and The/Das, he consequently was responsible for their visual identity as well as several of their music videos.

Philipp Koller is a partly classically trained, partly self-taught multi-instrumentalist and tech-savvy music producer, live performer and DJ. His skills and style led him to take part in the RBMA. On top of that he holds a master’s degree in Cultural History and Theory as well as a BA in Musicology, so the cultural significance of sound and its potential conceptualizations come as no surprise to him.

Jan Zabeil studied cinematography at the University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg (HFF/B). In 2007/08 his short films ›L.H.O.‹ and "Was weiss der Tropfen davon" screened at over 100 international film festivals and were awarded several prizes. His debut feature ›The river used to be a man‹ premiered in Toronto in 2011. The film won several awards at international film festivals (among them: ›Best new director – San Sebastian IFF 2011‹. It screened at art institutions (MoMA – NYC, National cinemateque, Mexico, Deutsche Kinemathek) and was distributed in cinemas in Germany, Spain and Mexico. 

In 2016 he wrote and directed "Three Peaks" which won the Piazza Grande Award in Locarno 2017 a.o. At the Berlinale 2018 he was one of Variety’s film magazine ›Europeans to watch‹ and received the DEFA award for young German cinema for his past two films. The same year, he co-produced Veronika Kaserers Film ›Überall wo wir sind‹, which won the Kompass-Perspektive award at the Berlinale. Currently he's working as doP on several projects for Netflix and Gebrüder Beetz Filmproduktion.
